Wow, so much has gone on since my last writing. I apologize for getting caught up in so much I just spaced the blog. Now, with that in mind, let's see if I can catch up a bit.
Since the last visit I have undergone many changes and some significant milestones. First, I had three days where I gained weight and believe me I did NOT want to report in to my coach or to you following along. However, I promised to be open and honest. So, while those gain days were disappointing, I discovered my body was changing. My waist underwent a shrinkage evidenced by 4 new belt notches needed to keep my pants up. I also was able to wear pants and shirts I hadn't worn in around two years. Secondly, my blood sugars dropped dramatically, in fact, so much that I had some low-sugar incidents. This prompted a visit the the diabetes clinic where my dosages were reduced, then even reduced more, and finally one shot will no longer be taken. My readings have been near perfect since. Thirdly, I have been able to do something I could not do for at least two years - I actually tied my own shoes!!! Kate had done so for me and we even left them tied and slipped on without redoing them. In truth, I had worn slip-on shoes almost exclusively. Fourth, I have had fun and am feeling great. I can walk further, stand longer, sleep better, see better, and have been able to present my Sunday messages at Church while standing at the pulpit instead of from a chair. I can't really put in words the whole experience... I have a luster for life that was almost completely gone AND have lost almost 50 pounds. Listen, YOU can change your life also. Consider how important it is to you to be healthy and slimmer. We believe in this program so much that my Mom is now joining us on this journey.
